Rayleigh trampoline park to reopen after £1million revamp

AN EXCITING new trampoline park is set to throw open its doors in Rayleigh

AN EXCITING new trampoline park is set to throw open its doors in Rayleigh this summer after a £1million renovation.

Oxygen Indoor Activity Parks will be taking over the huge Base Jump site in Brook Road, Rayleigh, after it was announced the business would close on Monday.

The park will go through a six-week £1 million transformation with the new owners installing many of its signature attractions –including a huge inflatable obstacle course, six new climbing challenges, an interactive sports pitch, and a giant UV airbag.

A standout feature is its "Excite Tunnel" which is a dramatic portal introducing customers to the park.

It is a full-on sensory experience, lit with light sensors, and a sound system both customizable to the event or session, led by the Oxygen staff.

Steve Wilson, managing director of Oxygen Activity Parks, said: "We are hugely excited to bring our Oxygen magic to the people of Rayleigh this summer.

"Oxygen currently has 12 sites nationwide, with each and every one of them moving the dial on what consumers can expect from an indoor leisure park, and Rayleigh will be no exception.

"Building on the great success of Base Jump, this significant investment is a huge commitment to ensuring a unique and fresh experience for the community of Rayleigh and South Essex."

The site will also feature seven birthday party areas and host a range of activities including freejumping, personalised birthday parties, structured toddler sensory play, ninja challenges, and much more.

During the construction of the new park, the staff at Base Jump will fully integrate with the team at Oxygen and return as ‘fully-oxygenated bouncers’ in time for the opening.

Oxygen chose Rayleigh as its latest investment due to the prime location in the Rayleigh, close to the High Street.

The park will open on July 19 – just before the summer holidays start.

Parties are now available to book at https://oxygenfreejumping.co.uk/activity-parks/rayleigh/
