A new action-packed entertainment center where kids can literally bounce off the walls is coming to Clearwater's Countryside Mall.

Launch Entertainment, a Rhode Island-based leading indoor family entertainment franchise, will open a new center in the mall that will feature an arcade, bowling alley, trampolines, laser tag, virtual reality games, a "ninja" obstacle course, and a restaurant and bar.

Launch Entertainment will commence a $2.5 million remodel of an existing 24,449-square-foot space on the north side of the mall near the entrance to Dillard’s.

Countryside Mall is creating a new entrance for Launch as the family entertainment center will have hours that extend beyond mall hours.

The grand opening is scheduled for early 2025.

Florida-based GameTime was previously expected to open a family entertainment center in the space; however, the center never opened. GameTime filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2021.

Launch, co-founded by former New England Patriots legend and Hall-of-Famer Ty Law, evolved from a trampoline park in 2012 and a small arcade to a full-fledged indoor adventure park that now boasts 29 locations throughout the U.S.

The franchise has three existing Florida centers in Orlando, Doral, and West Palm Beach.

The centers are typically around 30,000 square feet and are located within shopping plazas or malls.

In addition to the thrills, the Launch mega action centers feature a restaurant and bar called Krave serving house-made pizza, salad, ice cream, other signature items and drinks, including local beers.

Certain locations offer special programming, such as "Toddler Time," where kids ages five and under have the park to themselves for a few hours, as well as "Ignite," a teen night glow party, and a supervised after-school camp.

The general admission prices start at $24.99 with bundles based on attractions and activities with time limits like an hour of bowling or a two-hour-long Action Pass, which includes access to trampolines, dodgeball, basketball, ninja course, and more.

Families can rent the facility for private events and birthday parties.

The new Clearwater center is expected to complement the current offerings at Countryside Mall that's home to 12-screen CMX Cinemas, numerous restaurants, shops, and an ice skating rink.
